Do-It-Yourself Laptop Repair: LED Screen

Guided Screen-Who likes seeing their laptop's screen cracked or busted? Some frustrated users may opt to buy a brand new laptop right away. However, that shouldn't be the case since a bad screen can be easily replaced. Plus, this can be done by anyone at any time, including you. Save up. Replacing a bad screen can be done for a fraction of what it would cost to purchase a new laptop.
Here's how to replace your broken LED screen.
Steps:-
1
After turning your laptop off, disconnect all cables and devices. Close the LED screen and place the laptop face down. Find and remove the battery pack from its compartment.
2
Flip over the laptop and fully open the LED screen. Locate the rubber screw covers in the front panel of your laptop's LED panel and remove them. The screws from the front panel of the display assembly can be removed by using a Phillips-head screwdriver. Set aside the front panel after removing it. There may be instances when you may have to remove the thin plastic strip between the LED screen and keyboard. Using a flat-head screwdriver, carefully yank off the laptop casing.
3
Remove all screws from the exposed metal frame securing the LED screen. Locate the inverter board, which is usually located on the front-side bottom edge of the LED screen. Remove all remaining screws, if there are any, and gently disconnect the cables on each side of the inverter board.
4
Firmly hold the LED screen by its top edge. But be sure not to touch the screen itself. Slide the LED screen downward, until its back is exposed. Once you see the ribbon cable from the back of the LED screen, disconnect it, then carefully remove the broken LED screen from the LED panel and set it aside.

5
Do the steps in reverse to install the replacement LED screen.
6
If all else fails, have a professional company, like YOUR PC MATTERS, do the fixing for you, which you can easily search over the internet  for. Your search must be specific. For instance, you can type key phrases such as "laptop led screen repair Melbourne", "laptop keyboard repair Melbourne" or "IT support Melbourne"
Tips:
Since it's very difficult to work on laptops, and any internal damage done may void your warranty, be very discrete and careful. If you think you can't do it yourself, there's no shame in consulting a professional.
